I want twins! Bad!

What about decuplets? (10 babies!)
Totally natural, no artificial insemination or in vitro, etc.

According to the video posted on one of the Russian sites, lady in Kursk walked into the hospital on December  7th  2009 with a huge belly and delivered 10 healthy babies.

She didn’t have any medical records with her and, apparently, didn’t even visit doctors during her pregnancy.

Medical staff at the hospital were stunned, as they were pulling baby after baby, without knowing how many are still left. No ex-rays were done, so even the mother wasn’t aware that she was carrying 10 babies inside of her.

All babies were born absolutely healthy and not prematurely. The smallest baby was 2.5 kg, others were 3 – 3.1 – 3.2 kg.

Mother Irina is also healthy and appears to be happy. She already gave names to all her babies, though she still gets confused with names. All her extended family is flying in from different parts of Kurs region to help her with looking after newborns.

Stunned doctors talk about delivering 10 babies at once, something they haven't done before. 

However, the father of 10 babies didn’t take the news well. He came to the hospital only once asking if it’s a boy or a girl. When he learned that it actually 5 boys and 5 girls, he collapsed. Doctors had to work on him for a while, until he regained consciousness.

Nobody has seen him since.
